Started training in 1988 with then Cheonkwon Taekwondo. (Later under the influence of Grand Master Kim Yong Ho, 9th Dan, in 2001 the name changed to Kim Chung Do Kwan to reflect our close association with Master Kim.)
Under the guidance of instructor Master Ron Brennan, 6th Dan, has and is continuing to study both traditional Taekwondo techniques, breathing control, Hapkido, Gumdo as well as energy (Ki) movement.
Has also represented Great Britain in full contact WTF sport fighting at both the Junior & Senior European Championships.
Competed internationally since 1996 in both Mudo (traditional technical championships including poomsae) and full contact sport fighting.
Current responsibilities
Professional Taekwondo Instructor which involves getting the full potential out of each individual student irrespective of age, gender and ability.
Assistant Technical Director of the British Taekwonmudo Academy (BTMA), the British representative of the World Taekwonmudo Academy (WTA). Responsible for formulating disseminating the performance standards of BTMA members.
National Competition Organiser for Kim Chung Do Kwan.
Sport Fighting Coach for Kim Chung Do Kwan.
